This week (11th-17th April) we are celebrating UK Coffee Week. You may well notice some of your local Starbucks, Costa or other coffee shops taking part but we thought we’d get involved too. We are donating all the profits from our Espresso Martini kits to Project Waterfall.

What is it?

Coffee week is a nationwide fundraising initiative where coffee operators, trade professionals and their customers join together to celebrate the vibrancy of British coffee culture while raising valuable funds for the communities which grow our coffee.

Now you can’t make a good coffee without having fresh water, so all funds raised during this week go directly to Project Waterfall, an initiative established to bring clean water and sanitation to coffee growing communities around the world.

Why?

We are supporting coffee week by giving all the profit from each espresso martini kit sold this week towards Project Waterfall.

 

A bit about Project Waterfall

Project Waterfall is an initiative developed by the Allegra Foundation (registered charity: 1133540) to bring clean water to the communities which grow our coffee.

Donations from UK Coffee Week 2016 will be used to contribute to projects in coffee communities in the Oromia region of Ethiopia.
