To create your Rum Swizzle and Old Fashioned Duppy you will need:
A shaker (check out our Mixologist kit)
A jigger (measurer)
Plenty of ice
Fresh lemon juice
Fresh pineapple juice
Fresh orange juice
A TASTE Rum Swizzle kit or the below ingredients
Each kit contains:
- 2 x 100ml bottles The Duppy Share Rum
- 1 x 60ml Falernum
- 1 x 30ml Martini Rosso
- 1 x 30ml Grenadine
- 1 x 10ml Angostura Bitters

The TASTE Rum Swizzle
Our very own version combines a juice heavy Caribbean recipe with the benefits of Falernum and Grenadine for sweetness and complexity, and the bitters add the final touch.
40ml The Duppy Share Rum
15ml Fresh lemon juice
25ml Fresh pineapple juice
25ml Fresh orange juice
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Method: Fill a tall glass with ice and ‘Swizzle’ all ingredients in it. (Find yourself a swizzle stick or just use a long bar spoon)
The you can get creative with your garnish…think pineapple, slice of orange, cherries..

The Old Fashioned Duppy
40ml The Duppy Share Rum
5 dashes Angostura bitters
Twist of orange peel to garnish
Method: Fill a rocks glass or tumbler with ice. Stir all the ingredients in the glass for 60 seconds to allow for dilution. Top up with more ice if needed and garnish with a twist of orange peel, then drink.
Additional recipes to try…
50 ml Rum
15 ml part freshly squeezed lime juice
10 ml part pomegranate grenadine syrup
1 fresh egg white
5 ml part sugar syrup
Method: Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes and crushed ice. Give it a good, hard shake until the cocktail shaker is cold. Fine strain the mixture into a chilled glass.
25ml Martini Rosso vermouth
1 dash of Angostura bitters
Preserved cherry or orange peel twist to garnish
Method: Fill a mixing glass with ice cubes and add a dash of bitters. Then pour in the rest of the ingredients and stir for at least 2 minutes. Strain the mix into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry or orange peel twist.
